33rd Annual MIASF Waterway Cleanup

TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale pitched in once again on March 5 to help make a difference at the annual Marine Industries Association of South Florida Waterway Cleanup. Over 1,800 volunteers came by land and 117 volunteers came by boat to 25 sites for the 33rd Annual Waterway Cleanup presented by the Florida Inland Navigation District. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale donated a captain and their 38' landing craft to host the local Sea Cadets, each of whom volunteered their time. Thanks to all of the hard working volunteers, there was a total of over 18 tons of trash collected from from Broward county's canals and Waterways. TowBoatU.S. Ft Lauderdale was happy that they were able to contribute to the effort!
