TowBoatU.S. New River Assists Yachts
Entering the Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show
The Miami International Boat Show preparation has begun! This year's event will be held from February 16 through February 20, 2012. TowBoatU.S. New River captains have recently surveyed the Miami waterways in order to safely assist large, deep draft yachts to the site of the show. Captain Christian Denhard, explained, "Every year the route changes slightly due to various factors such as weather, shoaling, and currents. We sound the route from the ICW near the Julia Tuttle Bridge across the shallows and through the very narrow Indian Creek Bridge. We want to be sure that we are using the deepest route possible each year. By diligently studying the route, we can make confident recommendations to captains who have come to trust our expertise over the years"
Currently, TowBoatU.S. New River is coordinating tows across the shoals at high tide for the deeper draft yachts that will be on display at the show. Show officials report that there will be vessels in excess of 190' long at the show this year! The high tide spots are filling up quickly so make arrangements for TowBoatU.S. New River to assist you today! You can reach their captains directly at 954-292-0948.
