On an overcast November morning, TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale responded to a call about a migrant vessel that had come ashore on Sunny Isles Beach. Upon arrival, our team determined that towing the vessel back to sea was unsafe due to the large amount of sand it had taken on, which compromised its stability. Instead, an excavator was brought in to carefully drag the vessel down the beach to an access point, where it was loaded onto a trailer for removal.
