A Pink Boat For a Great Cause

TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale recently changed the color of one of their iconic twin diesel tow boats from red to pink. October is breast cancer awareness month and the crew at TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale has committed to raising $10,000.00 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale’s Director of Administration, Chloe Collins noted “Breast cancer has affected a number of families within our ranks. We wanted to make a difference by doing our part during breast cancer awareness month. We will be participating in the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk in Miami on Saturday October 8th. Each of our crewmembers has signed up to participate in this fundraising effort. Your donation is appreciated and we know that it will be put to good use in helping to find a cure for this disease. I have participated in this event in the past.
