TowBoatU.S. Dispatcher Amanda Tidwell Reaches 10 Year Milestone

As you have seen on the pages of the Offshore Navigator over the years, there have been several celebrations for employees that reach milestones with the company. This year at the annual Holiday Party, Dispatcher Amanda Tidwell added her name to those that have dedicated 10 years of service to the company. In her ten years she has seen a lot! Amanda has grown with the company from the days when information was collected for each call on paper dispatch sheets. Today, the company has a state of the art, internet based dispatch system that allows us to provide service faster and more efficiently to our customers. She has been on the front lines to witness and assist with major boat fires, groundings, salvages and all other manner of peril. She has assisted in the company’s growth from a small towing and salvage company to a leader in the fields of towing, salvage, launch, work boat charter and spill containment. Hers is the familiar voice that anyone that plies the waters of South Florida on weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM hears with regularity announcing: “The Vessel Hailing TowBoatU.S., This is TowBoatU.S. KGA455. Please switch and answer channel 10, channel 10 for TowBoatU.S.”
