Our inland tug fleet is specifically designed for close-quarters maneuvering, allowing us to safely move vessels through marinas, boatyards, canals, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the New River.
With decades of experience serving the Fort Lauderdale yachting community, our captains regularly assist yacht owners, captains, marinas, and shipyards with vessel relocations, haul-out transport, marina transfers, and docking assistance. Yacht Crane Services
TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale provides a variety of specialized yacht assistance services to support owners, captains, marinas, and shipyards throughout South Florida. Our crews regularly assist with the removal and installation of heavy equipment, including life rafts, davits, fire suppression tanks, generators, refrigerators, anchors, and anchor chain.
Our fleet includes two crane-equipped vessels capable of supporting a wide range of yacht service projects. The 96′ Richard L. Becker is equipped with a knuckle boom crane capable of lifting up to 7.5 tons with a reach of approximately 41 feet, making it ideal for handling large equipment located on upper decks or in difficult-to-access areas. For smaller projects and tighter working environments, our 55′ tug Lady Katherine is equipped with a crane capable of reaching approximately 22 feet from the waterline while lifting up to 1,600 pounds over the side.
In addition to crane operations, we provide support for anchor and ground tackle replacement projects, vessel maintenance operations, and other specialized waterfront lifting requirements. Every project is carefully planned and executed by experienced personnel who understand the unique challenges of working around yachts.
